Android 1.6 – 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) APN Settings

Some low-end devices and older smartphones carry the older versions of Android. If you have an Android version 2.3.4 or lower, please follow the instructions below. Please note, menus may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.

  • Press Menu
  • Select “Settings”
  • Select “Wireless & networks”
    • Check that “Airplane mode” and “Wi-Fi” are unchecked
  • Select “Mobile networks”
    • Check that “Data enabled” is checked.
  • Select “Access Point Names”
  • Delete all existing APNs
    • Select APN
    • Press Menu
    • Select “Delete APN”
  • Create new APN
    • Press Menu
    • Select “New APN”
    • Enter the following information:
    • Name: US Mobile
    • APN*: pwg
    • Proxy: <Not set>
    • Port: <Not set>
    • Username: <Not set>
    • Password: <Not set>
    • Server: <Not set>
    • MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
    • MMS Proxy: <Not set>
    • MMS Port: <Not set>
    • MCC: 310
    • MNC: 260
    • Authentication Type: <Not set>
    • APN type: <Not set>
    • *Case sensitive
  • Press Menu
  • Select “Save”
  • Reboot phone.

Your Internet & MMS are now ready to go!
