How to add an eSIM manually
Edited

In most cases, you'll just need to scan the QR code on your device to install it. If that doesn't work, this guide will help you manually install the eSIM on your Phone.

1. Samsung

  1. Go to Settings and tap Connections

  2. Tap SIM Card manager

  3. Tap Add mobile plan

  4. Tap Scan carrier QR Code

  5. If scanning the QR code does not work, tap Enter activation code

  6. Manually type your Activation Code and tap Connect

The code should be entered in this format: LPA:Activation Code.
    E.g. LPA:1$usm.vzw.otgeuicc.com$1234567890-1234567890

  7. Tap Confirm

2. iPhone

  1. Go to Settings and tap on either Cellular or Mobile Service.

  2. Tap Add Cellular Plan or Add eSIM.

  3. Tap Use QR code

  4. Is the QR code doesn't work, tap Enter Details Manually, at the bottom of your iPhone screen.

  5. Enter your activation code:

The SM-DP+ Address is the first part of your code between the two $ signs (if the complete code is LPA:1$usm.vzw.otgeuicc.com$1234567890-1234567890, the SM-DP would be usm.vzw.otgeuicc.com)

The Activation Code is the code after the second $ (in the above example, it would be 1234567890-1234567890)

Confirmation code: (you can leave this field empty)

3. Pixel

  1. In your device’s Settings, go to Network & Internet

  2. Look for SIMs and tap on "Add a network".

  3. Tap "Download a SIM instead?"

  4. It will show you the page to download your eSIM. Tap the Next button. The device will be checking network info.

  5. If the QR code doesn't work, tap "Need Help?" at the bottom:

  6. Tap "Enter it manually".

  7. Paste the copied SM-DP+ Address & Activation Code in the space provided.

  8. Tap "Continue".

  9. Once the code is scanned or added manually, the device will start checking on network info again. Once your download and installation are successful, you will see the Download Finished page.
