Can I decide which phone number I get?
When you activate a new line with US Mobile, you have different options depending on the network you choose. Here’s how you can select your preferred phone number for each network.
Warp Network and Dark Star Network
Selecting Your Preferred Number
Activating a new line on the Warp network or the Dark Star network offers a unique advantage—you get to choose a phone number you like! Here’s how it works:
Enter Your ZIP Code: When you start the activation process, you’ll be prompted to enter your ZIP code. This helps in generating phone numbers that are relevant to your location.
Choose from a List: After entering your ZIP code, a list of three phone numbers will be presented to you.
Refresh the List: If you don’t find a number you like in the initial list, you have the option to refresh the list. On the Warp network, you can refresh the list up to 6 times. Whilst on the Dark Star network, you get 3 refreshes. This feature ensures that you have ample choices to find a number that suits your preference.
Light Speed Network
Random Assignment Based on ZIP Code
For those opting to activate a new line on the Light Speed network, the process is slightly different:
Enter Your ZIP Code: Similar to the other networks, you will start by entering your ZIP code during the activation process.
Random Number Assignment: Based on the ZIP code you provide, a random phone number will be assigned to you. Unlike the Warp 5G and Dark Star networks, the Light Speed does not offer the option to choose or refresh the list of numbers. This means your number will be selected automatically from the available pool.
