How to set up your roaming destination for your Dark Star line

Heading abroad? Make sure your Dark Star line is properly configured for roaming. There's just 2 little things you need to do first to stay connected on your trip:

  1. Make sure your plan includes roaming, or get a roaming add-on.

  2. Select the correct roaming destination from the mobile app.

If your line is on Warp or Light Speed, you don't need to set up the roaming destination.

How to set up the destination

On the Mobile App:

  1. Open the US Mobile app. Download it for iOS here and for Android here.

  2. Tap on the Lines tab and then tap on your Dark Star line.

  3. Scroll down to Line Settings and tap on Roaming Destination (under Connectivity Tools).

  4. Type in your destination on the search bar and select it from the list.

    Upon selecting a destination, the tile on the bottom will update to show if the destination has Data, Talk & Text, or Data Only.

  5. Tap Confirm and your roaming destination will be updated.

On the Website:

  1. Login to your Account Dashboard on the website.

  2. Go to My Lines and select your Dark Star line.

  3. Under Line Settings, click on Connectivity Tools to expand it.

  4. Click on Roaming Destination.

  5. Find your destination and click on it.

  6. Hit Confirm and your roaming destination will be updated.

Roaming in multiple destinations

You only need to switch the roaming destination when moving from a region that supports data-only roaming to a destination that supports full-service (talk, text and data) roaming, or vice versa.

If you're moving between two destinations that both only support data-only roaming, you don't have to set the roaming destination on the app again. It will continue to work even when you enter the second country!
