Net10 PIN is the Activation zip code. if you don’t know it, try the default of 33178

    1. Thank you! In our experience with Net10, they don’t check for PINs, so it generally doesn’t matter what you enter there. However, at times port requests get held up with an incorrect zip error, in which case the zip code is updated to the 33178 one you mentioned.

    1. Thank you for pointing this out. I have updated the article:

“Mint Mobile – Dial 611 from your cellphone or call 213-372-7777 to request your account number and PIN. They only provide this information to the account holder on call, not via email.”

If you have further information about porting out from Mint Mobile or any carrier for that matter, please let us know. Thanks again!

    1. Hi Robert,

I was unable to find any information online about the FreeUp Mobile account number and PIN. If you ported your number from them please let us know how you obtained the required information and we’ll add it to this article.

      Thank you!

Had a heck of a time with a customer getting through to Verizon Prepaid to get the account number.. Suggest calling Verizon Post paid customer care and requesting prepaid department. That seems what we ended up doing. Also you can reset the pin from the automated customer care (611 dialed from phone.) They send a temporary pin to your phone by text. So can only be done if the phone is working. Thank you so much for this updatable list! Awesome!

BOOST MOBILE TIP: A much faster, easier way to get through to boost mobile customer care is once you are in English and enter your number press zero about 10 to 15 times steadily until you here the automated person saying I am getting you a representative.
STRAIGHT TALK TIP: I just did two Straight Talk port ins for two lines on a family plan yesterday and the Account numbers were the full IMEI of the phones. And the Pin had been set up by the account holder and was the same for both phones. Has anyone ever had it be the MEID number before?

    1. This is very helpful information Brice! We’ll update the article accordingly. If you have further suggestions or comments you may also send them to [email protected].

Regarding Straight Talk account numbers, MEIDs are a remnant from the CDMA era, so you’re not likely to come across them much.

Wing subscribers do not get their account and pin numbers when signing up. Wing keeps your account number and pin number secret until you get ugly with them. Nobody gets those numbers without a lot of effort. It can take days just to get them to part with that information and I have personally had them flag my number so that even though it is released it still will not port from Wing. Plan well ahead if you intend to port your number from them.
