Our networks explained
US Mobile gives you access to three nationwide networks: Warp, Dark Star, and Light Speed. You get to choose which network fits your needs and when. With our multi-network capabilities, you can get the benefits and coverage of two or all three on one plan. If you want to switch networks, you can do that too — all within one carrier.
Features
All three of our networks are powered with nationwide 5G for the fastest speeds and allow for native international roaming (talk, text, and use your plan data while traveling).
You're not locked into a network when you join US Mobile. You can always switch networks or even access two (or even three) networks on one service plan.
Selecting a network
On other carriers, you'd likely first consider whether you've got good coverage but since we offer all three major US networks, we recommend you pick one and just try it out.
Coverage and congestion performance can be hard to predict so we recommend most users to dive in with the network they think suits them best and then using our network switching or Multi-Network features to try out other networks to find your best fit.
If you really want to be sure about your network choice before bringing over an important line then we recommend activating some of our most affordable plans on one, two, or all of our networks and testing them for a bit to see how they do in your day-to-day life.
Multiple lines, multiple networks, one plan
If you're new to US Mobile, try the multi-network add-on for your first 2 billing cycles free. This lets you test different networks on your device and find out which performs best in real-world conditions. To learn more, read all about adding multiple lines to your plan.
After the two free cycles, the multi-network add-on is $10/month per network ($7.50/month if billed annually). You can turn it off at any time by turning off AutoPay on the add-on line.
Switching between our networks
You can switch which network your line is on at any time. Read our guide on switching networks for more information.
