Configuring your dashboard
Here's how to organize and customize your account dashboard.
Naming lines
If you have multiple lines, you can assign them names and icons to make it easier to identify which line belongs to whom.
- Sign in to your account. You'll land on your account dashboard.
- Select the line you want to make changes to.
- On the line page, select the blue pencil icon on the avatar to edit the details.
- Enter the name and change the icon for the line.
- Select Save to confirm your changes.
Removing inactive lines from your dashboard
Remove inactive lines from your dashboard to keep your account organized and clutter-free.
- Sign in to your account dashboard.
- Select My Lines.
- Select the Trash icon next to your inactive line.
- Select Delete line to confirm.
Downloading usage logs
Generate and download detailed usage logs for your line directly from your US Mobile dashboard to track or analyze your talk and text activity.
You can request your usage data up to 3 times a week.
- Sign in to your US Mobile account via a browser.
- Go to the Individual Lines page and select the line you want usage logs for.
- Select Usage & Controls, then select Usage Logs.
- Check the boxes next to Talk and Text depending on which logs you need, select the date range, and select Email my PDF.
- Check your email for the file.
Only account owners and admins can generate and download usage logs from the dashboard. The usage logs are sent to the owner's email address. If you're an admin, you can generate the logs — but you'll need access to the owner's email to view them.
Setting up notifications
Email and dashboard notifications help you stay on top of activity on your account. Every user (except viewers) can customize their own notification preferences.
How it works
The account owner receives all notifications for activity on their account. They can turn off certain notification types and subscribe only to what matters to them.
Admins and contributors only receive notifications for actions they trigger. For example, if an admin activates a new line, we'll notify them and the account owner — but not other users on the account, since it doesn't concern them.
Admins and contributors can also turn off certain notification types and subscribe only to those they want to receive.
Notifications center
Stay up to date on the latest announcements through the notifications center on your dashboard:
- Sign in to your dashboard.
- Select Notifications on the left sidebar to open the Notifications Center.
- Select any notification to view more details.
- Switch between All and Unread notifications at the top right.
Notification preferences
Here's how to set your notification preferences:
- Sign in to your dashboard.
- Select Settings on the left sidebar.
- Select the Notifications tab.
- Turn on or off individual notification types under Email Notifications. You can also turn on or off dashboard notifications for individual lines or pools on your account.
- Changes save automatically — you can exit the page when you're done.
Transaction and Account and Security notifications can't be turned off.
Adding users
You can add multiple users with different access levels to your US Mobile account. There are four access levels:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to all account features, settings, and billing. |
| Admin | Can view and edit all lines and pools, edit payment methods, and add or remove other users. Can't transfer ownership. |
| Contributor | Same as Admin, except they can't add or remove other users. |
| Viewer | Can only view lines and pools — no changes or billing access. |
Adding users from the apps
- On the web app, go to Settings and then the User tab. On the iOS or Android app, go to Account, then User Management.
note
You won't see this option without Owner or Admin access.
- Select Invite Users, then enter the email address of the person you want to add.
- Choose a role (admin, contributor, or viewer) and select Send invite.
- The new user will receive an email with a link to set up their account. They can follow the instructions in the email to get started.
