Data roaming allows you to call, text, and use data in a country outside the US without needing to change your phone number or having to insert a new SIM card. Local calls and calls to the US while abroad are supported.

Roaming support is network specific. Each network offers the following native coverage:
Light Speed: Enjoy calling, texting, and data in over 180 countries.

Warp: Includes calling, texting, and data in over 125 countries.

Dark Star: Get roaming access in 110+ countries. Note that 30 are data only.
To ensure a smooth roaming experience on Dark Star, set your destination country in Roaming Destination from line settings or reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

If you’re on an Unlimited Premium or Annual Unlimited Starter plan, you’re all set after turning on roaming on your device! Just travel to any supported country, and you can call, text, and use data exactly like you would at home—no extra steps needed!

If your plan doesn't have roaming, or you are running low on roaming data, you can always add more from the dashboard. The option is currently available for lines on our Dark Star or Light Speed networks.

If your device is locked to US Mobile (most devices sold by us are unlocked, but a few purchased through special device promotions may be locked for 30, 60, or 90 days) and you are traveling before the lock period has expired, reach out to customer support before your trip. Yes! If your current network doesn’t offer coverage at your destination, you can still stay connected by purchasing (or redeeming) a standalone international data eSIM—no need to transfer your line to another network. In many destinations, these eSIMs are complimentary with Unlimited Premium and Annual Unlimited Starter plans.

To get one:
1. Go to your Account Dashboard.
2. Click Add International Data in the left-hand menu.
3. Select your destination to see available plans.
4. Choose a plan, click Continue with the Plan, and complete your purchase.

Yes, you can. To purchase additional data roaming, simply go to your line details page on the web or mobile app. You can purchase a top-up from the following options:

- $15: 1 GB of data, 150 minutes of calling, and 150 texts
- $30: 5 GB of data, 500 minutes of calling, and 500 texts

Country coverage is dependent on the network.

To check if you have roaming included with your current plan, navigate to your line details page and check the 'Roaming' tab to see balance or 'See what's included in your plan' section.

To check your remaining roaming usage, navigate to your line details page and check the “Roaming” tab to see remaining balance. Please note that usage information can be delayed from a few hours and up to a day.

Roaming plans do not provide coverage or support for services while on a cruise ship.
