Which iPhones support eSIM?
Every iPhone from the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR (2018) onward supports eSIM. U.S. models of the iPhone 14 and later are eSIM-only, with no physical SIM tray, and the iPhone 17 Air is eSIM-only worldwide.
How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?
On iPhone, open Settings then Cellular and look for “Add eSIM.” On Android, go to Settings then Network & internet then SIMs (Pixel) or Settings then Connections then SIM manager (Samsung). If you see an option to add an eSIM, your phone supports it.
Do Samsung and Google Pixel phones support eSIM?
Yes. Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, the Note 20 line, all Z Fold and Z Flip models, and select A-series phones support eSIM. Google Pixel 2 and newer support it (the Pixel 2 only on Google Fi), through the Pixel 10 series.
Is an eSIM-only phone a problem?
For most people, no. eSIM-only phones like recent U.S. iPhones activate online in minutes and can store multiple profiles. The main thing to know is you’ll set up service digitally rather than inserting a physical card.

will iphone se 2022 work?
Yes.
It should
Hi,
Your article is misleading. Specifying a phone by its commercial name is not enough. The same name often hides different models. For example, the international Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports eSIM, but not the US version of the phone. I believe it’s the same for the Galaxy S20, and probably others in your list.
You’re right. We’ll work on making a more comprehensive list of all the eSIM compatible phones. In the mean time please feel free to reach out to out support team and they’ll be able to verify anything for you.
I am a current US Mobile customer and received a Galaxy 4 LTE watch for Christmas. Is there any way of knowing if it will ever be usable on the US Mobile service?
Cheers
List is total clickbait. Saw pixel 6 pro and went to sign up, but not yet supported. This is just a list of phones that CAN have ESIM, doesn’t mean usmobile can.
Also not supported yet:
iPhone 13,
13 Pro,
13 Pro Max,
13 Mini
iPhone 12,
12 Pro,
12 Pro Max,
12 Mini
Google Pixel 6
Google Pixel 5,
Google Pixel 5a
You are missing out all iPad devices since gen 7th, not Pro, not Air, just the regular iPad.
Although listed above, my Samsung Galaxy 20+ 5G does not seem to have the eSIM capability enabled. It’s not there in the menus, as far as I can see!
Does Sony Xperia support E-sim?
The Sony Xperia 10 III Lite does
Hello does vivo y20s g have esim??
Actually article is not accurate from my knowledge.
The s20 series from Samsung have esim disabled I believe.
As many of us cannot enable it or view it. Maybe it has to be a Verizon model?
Thanks for sharing such a great infomation.
Great article! Your US Mobile (USM) techs have been trying to help me with an iPhone 6s mobile data connectivity issue for 2 days straight and cannot figure it out. It worked fine for 2 months but quit last getting data last Monday, MMS, SMS and calling work fine which means it IS actually getting LTE connectivity just not for mobile data which is very weird and usuall means an APN issue. They are trying but cannot reconfigure the APN file (or so they say) which is the only thing that will fix it. Are you an expert on this and if not could you please put me in touch with someone at USM that is?
My USM numver is [redacted] but please call me at [redacted] so I can help diagnose the USM phone. I have set up many phones and have never not been able to fix one myself until now. The 6s is about the most compatible phone Apple has ever made as you may know. I have talked man people into switching from ATT and Verizon to USM and would really like to figure out what the problem is if my friends start having these issues. Thanks
