International coverage options
Heading abroad? Stay connected with friends and family on your international travels with US Mobile. You have a few options to do so:
Option 1: Roam natively with one of our Unlimited plans or an International By-the-gig plan
International roaming (talk, text, and data) is included with Unlimited Premium and Annual Unlimited Starter plans on all three of our networks.
Your line must have domestic usage (inside the United States) first to be able to use international roaming. Roaming won't work if you activate the line outside the US.

Destinations
Use your number around the world with international roaming:
- 110+ destinations if you're on Dark Star (30 are data-only).
- 180+ destinations if you're on Light Speed.
- 125+ destinations if you're on Warp.
Option 2: Purchase a roaming add-on if you’re on another plan
You also have the option to purchase a native roaming add-on for any unlimited or shareable data line:
- 1 GB, 150 minutes, 150 texts for $15
- 5 GB, 500 minutes, and 500 texts for $30
Option 3: Purchase a data-only eSIM (no talk or text)
At US Mobile, we offer international data across 100+ countries. As long as your phone is eSIM-compatible and not carrier-locked, you can get 4G LTE and 5G data as soon as you land at your next destination. If you require more data, you can add it at local rates.
The activation of our eSIM takes around two minutes, and your plan activates as soon as your purchase is complete.
The international data-only eSIM is separate from your domestic line and needs to be installed separately on your device.
Our international data-only eSIM plan does not include talk and text. We recommend using FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or a similar app to make and receive calls.
What happens if I run out of international talk, text, or data?
You can always add on more. If you run out of talk or text but still have roaming, you can top up talk and text for $5.

Our Travel Planner helps you make sure you've got the right plan and network setup to get coverage at wherever you're headed. Enter your destination and we'll tell you if you've got the right setup — or recommend what changes to make to get the coverage you need.
What is the Travel Planner?
The Travel Planner is a personalized tool that helps you prepare for international travel by:
- Checking if your current plan includes roaming
- Verifying coverage in your destination countries
- Providing tailored recommendations based on the respective network and plan
- Creating travel itineraries with options for network management
How to use the Travel Planner
- Go to your Lines dashboard.
- Select the Line you plan on traveling with.
- In the Line Settings section, go to International Travel and select Travel Planner.
- Add all the countries you plan to travel to, then select Continue.
- Based on your selections, you will get travel recommendations, including whether any changes or updates are required.
- Select Check My Itinerary, and an email with all the necessary details will be sent to you.
- Open the Travel Planner to update your current destination when you arrive.
