Promotions and discounts

US Mobile occasionally offers promotion codes, student discounts, and partner deals that can save you money on your plan. Here's how to apply them.

Using promotion codes​

Follow these steps to apply a promotion or discount code to a line you already have.

  1. Sign in to your account dashboard and select My Lines.
  2. Select the Line you want to add a promo code to.
  3. Select Change Plan under Line Management.
  4. Select the plan you want and select Continue.
    You can toggle between annual and monthly plans.
  5. Choose any add-ons that you want with the plan, and select Continue to checkout.
  6. Under the Promo Code section, enter your code and select APPLY.
  7. Select Save Changes after applying the promo code.

Keep AutoPay turned on for the discount to apply.

Some promotions are network-specific

Not all promotions apply to all three networks. Before porting in or switching networks, confirm that any promotion you're expecting applies to the network you're choosing. If you have questions about whether a specific offer applies to your network, contact support before activating.

Student discount​

Students can save on their wireless plan with discounts up to 25% on Unlimited Premium plans, plus free SIM cards.

US Mobile offers free SIM cards to university students. Students get 20% off the Unlimited Premium plan each month. If your university is one of our partners, you'll receive a 25% discount instead.

If your college or university is one of our partners, you can pick up a US Mobile SIM card from the Student Services Offices and ask them for your school promo code. Our partner universities include:

  1. Yale University.
  2. Harvard University.
  3. Missouri University of Science and Technology.
  4. Virginia Tech.
  5. Georgetown University.
  6. Princeton University.
  7. Nazareth University.

Can't find your university?​

If your university is not yet one of our partners, you can visit this page and fill in the form at the bottom with your university email address and shipment information to receive a free Starter Kit. Once the Starter Kit gets delivered, activate your line and contact support via chat, call, or email to get the student discount applied.

A valid .edu email address is required to be eligible.
