Refund Policy
General
US Mobile does not issue refunds for Service used and canceled during the monthly billing cycle or during the term of an annual plan. Canceling your plan, or porting out from US Mobile immediately interrupts Service and you will forfeit any unused data, as well as any remaining days, cycles, and credits.
Activation
The plan period for new lines begins from the day of activation. Unless a longer or shorter period is provided by the terms of any promotion, the plan will be available for activation in the user dashboard for up to 90 days after the date of purchase (the "Activation Period"). Except as stated below, US Mobile will not issue refunds for failure to activate plans within the Activation Period.
Month to Month Plans
If it has been less than 45 days since the date of purchase, customers on a non-Snooze plan with no usage during a monthly billing cycle can request a full refund. If there has been usage within the current cycle, customers may request a partial refund of:
• Unlimited plans: the amount paid for the current cycle minus $2 per GB for each GB of premium data used, according to US Mobile's internal metering.
• All other plans: prorated refunds based on the amount of data used in the current cycle.
Annual Plans
If it has been: a) less than 45 days since the date of purchase and b) less than 7 days since a new line was activated or less than 7 days since the billing cycle began, customers can request a refund. US Mobile will only issue refunds if its internal metering shows the amount of data usage is minimal and does not exceed the following thresholds:
• Unlimited Plans: zero roaming usage and less than 1GB domestic usage
• All other plans: less than 1 GB usage
If your usage exceeds these thresholds, US Mobile may, in its sole discretion, issue you an account credit for any unused months of your annual plan, which may be used towards the purchase of a new plan. The maximum service credit will be calculated as the total cost of the plan divided by the duration of the plan. All credits:
• will be the lesser of the total monthly cost of your new plan or the maximum monthly service credit as calculated above; and
• will be prorated and applied for the number of months equal to the remaining unused months of the original multi-month plan, excluding the billing cycle during which the plan was canceled.
Data-Only International Data eSIMs
Purchases of international data only eSIMs may be refundable in the event of a service malfunction. If your service does not work or stops working due to product malfunction, network outage, or other technical faults in the product or service, we may issue a full or partial refund, pending an investigation by our customer support team.
International Top-Ups
A customer can request a refund for an international roaming add-on or top-up that is purchased if there has been zero usage of any roaming data, talk, or text. Any roaming usage will render the add-on or top-up non-refundable.
