The short answer You can pay your Boost Mobile bill in the Boost Mobile app, in your account online, at a Boost Mobile store, or by phone to Customer Care at (833) 502-6678. The first three are free. If an agent processes your payment there’s a $4 convenience fee, so use the automated system if you’re calling. We checked this against Boost Mobile’s published support pages on August 5, 2026.

Every way to pay a Boost Mobile bill

Five routes, and the difference between them is mostly whether a human touches it.

If you’re on autopay, you don’t really “pay” at all. Boost processes the payment on the day it’s due and that’s that.

Financed a phone through Affirm? That bill is separate. If you financed your device with Affirm, Affirm handles those payments, not Boost. Paying your Boost service bill does nothing for your device balance, and vice versa. Two bills, two companies.

How do I find my Boost Mobile due date?

It’s on the home dashboard, in both places you’d look.

  1. Boost Mobile app

Your due date shows on the home dashboard as soon as you open it.

  2. Your account online

Same thing, on the dashboard after you log in.

Autopay accounts can also see the due date in a Boost Mobile store if you’d rather ask a person. Your billing and payment history live in the same two places.

Turning autopay on, off, or updating the card

The paths differ slightly between web and app, which trips people up.

TaskOn the webIn the app
Enable autopaySettings, Payment Method, Enable AutoPaySettings, Account, Payment Methods, Enable AutoPay
Add or change a cardSettings, Payment Method, Add Credit or Debit CardSettings, Account, Payment Methods, Add Payment Method
Turn autopay offSettings, Payment Method, toggle AutoPay offSettings, Account, Payment Methods, toggle AutoPay off
You may not be able to turn autopay off Boost says some account types and plan offers require autopay to stay on. If your plan price assumes autopay, switching it off can mean losing that price, and in some cases the toggle won’t let you. Worth checking what you’re actually agreeing to before you disable it.

Which cards does Boost Mobile accept?

Boost accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

The important exclusion: Boost does not accept prepaid debit or prepaid credit cards on boostmobile.com. That catches a lot of people out, because prepaid cards are common among prepaid phone customers. Boost also notes it may not be able to process cards from every financial institution.

If a card is being declined and you know it has money on it, Boost’s own advice is to contact the card issuer or try a different payment method. That’s usually right. A decline at this stage is more often the bank than the carrier.

Can I pay someone else’s Boost Mobile bill?

Yes, and it’s free if you do it the right way. Boost calls this a guest payment.

Call Customer Care at (833) 502-6678 and use the automated system. You need two things:

  1. Their phone number

The Boost mobile number on the account you’re paying.

  2. The exact amount

This is the catch. Boost won’t tell you their balance, because it protects the account holder’s privacy. So you need to get the number from them first.

Do it through the automated system and it costs nothing. Ask an agent to process it and you’re back to the $4 fee.

Can I pay in advance?

You can. A payment made early sits on the account as a credit and applies automatically at your next due date.

Paying early does not reset your data This is the single most misunderstood thing about Boost billing, and Boost repeats it on two separate help pages. If you’ve burned through your high-speed data and you pay your bill early hoping it refills, it won’t. Your allotment refreshes on the billing cycle, not on payment. If you need data now, you need a data pack, not an early payment.

What if I need more time to pay?

Boost has a formal payment extension, and it’s better documented than most carriers’ equivalents. It’s also only for No Contract (prepaid) accounts.

ItemDetail
Extra time5 days
Cost up front$10 per line
Credit back$5 per line, if you pay in full by the new due date

Request it on your dashboard in the app or online, under Request Payment Extension.

Two details worth knowing. Your existing Boost Protect coverage stays active through the extension. And if you end up paying in full before the extension period even starts, Boost cancels it automatically, though the $10 you already paid gets credited toward your bill rather than refunded.

Miss the 5 days and service is suspended until you pay in full, and you lose the $5 per line credit.

Already suspended? You may still qualify. You can set up a payment extension up to 15 days after your original due date, even if your service is already off. A lot of people assume suspension closes that door. It doesn’t, for two weeks.

Refunds, and what happens if you just don’t pay

Boost is blunt about refunds: once a payment is applied to an account it is not refundable, not transferable, not exchangeable, and has no surrender value. There’s no partial-month credit if you leave mid-cycle. Worth factoring in if you’re planning to switch carriers, because paying a bill the day before you port out is money you don’t get back.

If you don’t pay, service gets suspended until the balance is cleared. You’ve got the payment extension as a formal option, and reactivating later is a phone call to (833) 502-6678.

For reference, US Mobile includes taxes and fees in its listed plan prices, so the monthly figure on the plan page is the amount billed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay my Boost Mobile bill?

You can pay in the Boost Mobile app, in your account online, at a Boost Mobile store, or by calling (833) 502-6678. The app, website, store and automated phone system are all free. If an agent processes the payment, Boost adds a $4 convenience fee.

Does Boost Mobile charge a fee to pay your bill?

Only for assisted payments. If a Boost agent processes your payment by phone, there is a $4 convenience fee. Paying through the app, your account online, a Boost Mobile store or the automated phone system costs nothing.

Can I pay a Boost Mobile bill for someone else?

Yes, and it is free. Call Boost Customer Care at (833) 502-6678 and use the automated system. You need the person’s phone number and the exact amount you want to pay, because Boost will not disclose another member’s balance.

Does paying my Boost Mobile bill early refill my data?

No. Boost states that making a payment early does not replenish your monthly data allotment. Your high-speed data refreshes on your billing cycle, not when you pay. If you have run out of data, you need to buy a data pack instead.

What cards does Boost Mobile accept?

Boost Mobile accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. It does not accept prepaid debit or prepaid credit cards on boostmobile.com, and it notes that cards from some financial institutions may not process.

How does a Boost Mobile payment extension work?

A payment extension gives you 5 extra days for $10 per line, and Boost credits $5 per line back if you pay in full by the new due date. It is available on No Contract prepaid accounts only, you can request it up to 15 days after your due date even if service is suspended, and you get one per billing cycle.

Can I get a refund from Boost Mobile?

Generally no. Boost states that once a payment is applied to an account it is not refundable, not transferable, not exchangeable and has no surrender value. There is no partial-month credit if you cancel or port out mid-cycle.
