Advanced setup
There are a few advanced setup options you can use to adjust how long your phone rings or forward calls from your line to another device.
Adjusting ring time
You can adjust how long your phone rings before a call goes to voicemail using dial codes. Adjusting ring duration is only possible on our Light Speed and Dark Star networks.
Lines on Warp ring for 30 seconds before going to voicemail. It's not possible to change the ring time for these lines.
- Light Speed
- Dark Star
From your cell phone, dial **61*18056377243**[seconds]# but replace [seconds] with the length of time the call will ring. Acceptable inputs are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds.
For example, if you want the phone to ring for 20 seconds before going to voicemail, you would dial **61*18056377243**20#
Dial *61*+1[your 10-digit phone number]*11*[seconds]# where [seconds] is the length of time the call will ring. Acceptable inputs are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds.
For example, if your phone number is (123) 456-7890 and you want your phone to ring for 20 seconds before going to voicemail, you would dial *61*+11234567890*11*20#
Call forwarding
Call forwarding lets you redirect incoming calls to another number so you never miss important calls. You can forward all calls or only when you're busy or unavailable.
There are 2 forwarding options:
- Forward all calls
- Forward calls only when you don't answer, or you're already on a call (Conditional Call Forwarding)
Call forwarding is automatically included with new activations, and there are no plan fees for the service. However, airtime charges apply to all forwarded calls according to your calling plan, even when forwarding to a landline.
When forwarding all calls from your mobile phone to another number, your mobile phone won't ring until you turn off call forwarding.
