Low data plans
We offer low data options for any use case — whether you want a backup line, a dedicated line for a secondary device, or don't use much data day to day.
Light plan
The Light plan is a simple, low-cost option with 2 GB of high-speed data and unlimited talk and text. It's a good fit if you're mostly on Wi-Fi and only need data occasionally. Find it in the app when purchasing a plan under Low data plans.
What's included
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Price | $10/mo monthly · $8/mo annual ($96/year) |
| Data | 2 GB high-speed data |
| Talk & text | Unlimited domestic talk and text |
| Video streaming | Up to 720p |
| Hotspot | Not included |
| Wi-Fi calling | Included at no extra cost |
| 5G | Included |
| Networks | Any of our networks |
When you reach 2 GB, your data service stops completely — it does not throttle to a slower speed. If you regularly use more than 2 GB per month, a By-the-gig plan or one of our Unlimited plans may be a better fit.
Add-ons
The Light plan supports a few optional add-ons if you need extra coverage.
- International calling — $3/mo to 200+ countries
- International roaming data — available as a separate add-on
International texting is not included and is not available as an add-on on the Light plan. If you need to send texts abroad, consider upgrading to an Unlimited plan.
Custom plans
We also offer custom plans that start at $4/month. Completely customize how much data, talk, and text you need. Find them in the app when purchasing a plan under Low data plans.
Top-ups for low data plans
Both the Light plan and custom plans have set limits, so if you run out of data, talk, or text before your billing cycle ends, you can buy a Top-up to add more.
- Sign in to your Account Dashboard on the website.
- Select the Lines tab, then select your line.
- Under the Current Cycle tab, use the arrow to cycle to the usage type you want to top up — data, talk, or text — then select the + icon next to it.
- Select the Top-up amount you want.
- Select your payment method, then select Confirm Top-up.
