Accessing Your Account and Viewing Charges
To see all the charges associated with your Cricket Wireless account, simply sign in to My Account or use the myCricket App. This way, you can keep track of your bill and make informed decisions throughout your billing cycle. Remember, all charges and fees are nonrefundable and may change at any time without notice, so staying updated is key!
Common Charges You Might Encounter
Here’s a quick rundown of some common fees you could see as a Cricket user:
- Activation Fee: Whether you’re buying a new Cricket device or bringing your own, there’s an activation fee involved. In-store activations cost $25, but you can save that fee by activating online — that’s $0!
- Device Upgrade Fee: Upgrading to a new Cricket device? Be prepared for a $25 fee, regardless of whether you do it in-store or online (this doesn’t apply to service plan changes).
- Reactivation Fee: If your account gets suspended due to a missed payment, you’ll incur a reactivation fee of $5 for single-line accounts and $15 for multi-line accounts. Pay attention to your due date to avoid this fee!
- Accessory Restocking Fee: Remember, once you buy accessories, they’re yours. All accessory sales are final with no restocking fee.
- Changing Your Mobile Number: If you’re a current customer and want to change your mobile number, there’s a $15 fee. New customers transferring numbers from other carriers are exempt from this charge.
- Customer Assistance Fee: Need help with your payment? If you go through an Authorized Retail store or call Customer Support, you’ll incur a $5 fee, but using the myCricket App or My Account means no fee. Win-win!
- BridgePay® Fee: When activating BridgePay, expect to pay $5 for single-line accounts or $15 for multi-line accounts, plus a minimum payment due for each line.
