What Cricket Offers with Your Plan
First off, let’s take a quick look at what your Cricket plan includes:
- Unlimited calls, texts, and picture messages across the U.S.
- Unlimited international text messaging (SMS only) to 37 countries.
- Unlimited calling to and from landlines and mobile phones in Mexico and Canada with specified plan allowances.
- High-speed data access while traveling in Mexico or Canada, with speeds being reduced after your high-speed allowance is reached.

The Lowdown on International Long Distance Options
Cricket provides two fantastic international features to help you keep in touch:
- Cricket International: For just $5 per month, get unlimited calling to landlines in 35 countries (including Brazil, Israel, Peru, and Taiwan). This feature is available with plans starting at $40/month.
- Cricket International Extra: For $15 per month, enjoy unlimited calls to landlines and picture/video messaging to 35 countries, plus 1,000 mobile-to-mobile minutes to 31 countries. This feature also requires a minimum plan of $40/month.
If you had Cricket International or Cricket International Extra before August 23, 2015, you might have extra benefits from grandfathered features—just keep your plan unchanged to retain those perks.
When Can You Add International Long Distance Features?
If you’re excited to connect with friends across borders, make sure your Cricket plan starts at $40/month. You can add international features on the first day of your billing cycle for the most benefit, but you can also make adjustments anytime during the cycle. You can have only one international feature per line, so plan accordingly!
Steps to Add International Features
Ready to add an international feature? Here’s how you can do it using both the My Account online portal and the myCricket app:
Using My Account Online
- Sign in to My Account.
- Review your current plan and features summary.
- Select a line, then click on Features.
- Choose Add Features.
- Select either Cricket International or Cricket International Extra under Monthly Features.
- Add to Cart and schedule your feature change for today or for the next billing cycle.
- Review the info and enter your credit card details (if applying today).
- Accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Submit.
- You’ll receive payment confirmation on your screen and via text message.
Using the myCricket App
- Open the myCricket App and log in.
- If you have multiple lines, choose a line to manage.
- Tap Manage Features.
- Enter your four-digit PIN (if needed) and proceed.
- Tap on Add-on Features.
- Select either Cricket International or Cricket International Extra, then tap Next.
- Schedule your change and tap Continue.
- Review and then confirm your payment info.
- Click Submit Payment (if adding today) or Submit Changes (for next billing). You will also get payment confirmation.
