Step 1: Find the Right SIM Card Size
Phones today are transitioning to using eSIMs, but if your phone needs a physical SIM, this guide is for you. Most modern phones use a nano-SIM, which is the smallest SIM card size. If your SIM card has multiple cutouts, push through the nano SIM with your finger to break it free from the larger card.
Step 2: Eject the SIM Tray
Use the SIM ejector tool that came with your phone (or a small paperclip… perhaps an earring back if you’re feeling brave) to pop out the SIM tray. The SIM tray is usually located on the side of your device.
Step 3: Align the SIM Card
Once the tray is out, carefully place your SIM card into the tray. Make sure it lines up with the diagonal cutout in the tray. The card should fit flush with the surface.
Step 4: Insert the SIM Tray
After placing the SIM card correctly, slide the tray back into your phone until it clicks into place.
And that’s it! Your activated SIM card should now be ready to use, and your phone will recognize it instantly.
