Our network speeds are available through a combination of technologies called MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) and Carrier Aggregation available on our Warp network. These technologies essentially allow multiple antennas that are available in your phone to communicate with different towers on different 4G and 5G bands resulting in greater reliability and speeds of 250 Mbps and higher. On other networks, phones only connect to the strongest signal.

Absolutely. While activating your service, you’ll be prompted to either transfer your existing number or create a new one. We make it simple for you to transfer your number to our network, and will guide you through the process during activation.

Yes! Almost all unlocked phones with a SIM card slot will work with US Mobile. If your phone is locked to a carrier, do not hesitate to reach out to us. While we don't unlock it ourselves, our support team can recommend unlocking options for you. Just chat with us!

Yes! Our phone plans come with WiFi Calling at no extra cost to you. It’s currently available on all three of our networks – Warp, Dark Star, and Light Speed (formerly GSM 5G).

Currently, you can make international calls to 180+ destinations on either of our networks. It is included on all our annual plans, on our By the Gig shareable plans, and on our monthly Premium plan. International calling can also be purchased as an add-on on our Light and Monthly Starter plan. Note that international calling only works on our domestic (US) SIMs; if you have purchased one of our international data eSIMs, those do not support calling.

All new US Mobile customers who transfer an existing number to Dark Star or Warp networks are eligible. All you need is a new account, your preferred method of activation, and your device.

With the Multi-Network Add-On, you can add a second (and third!) network to your phone that shares your Unlimited Data plan on your Primary Line. For example, if your primary line is on Dark Star, you could add a second network on Warp and a third on Light Speed. Your phone can automatically switch between the lines, always keeping you on the best connection. Please see the FAQs for more information here.

Yes we do! We offer international 4G LTE data via data eSIMs in over 140 countries at affordable local rates! We also offer native international roaming (no need for a separate data only eSIM!). Unlimited Premium plans come with up to 20 GBs of international roaming data, 200 mins and 250 texts. The annual Unlimited Starter plan comes with 1 GB of international roaming data, 200 mins and 250 texts. Check out our international roaming options here.

Yes! We have unlimited data, talk & text plans. Our Unlimited Premium plans are truly limitless. You will never be slowed down, no matter how much data you use. On our Unlimited Starter, you can also grab unlimited high speed data on Dark Star. On the Unlimited Starter plans with Warp and Light Speed, you'll also get unlimited data, but you may experience slower speeds after 70 GB of monthly usage. In addition, the Unlimited Flex plans offer unlimited data, but you may experience slower speeds after 10 GB of monthly usage. While we do not have multi-line discounts (we just lowered our prices so that even a single line costs what one used to get after a multi-line discount), accounts with multiple lines can get subscription perks. You will also get one perk (up to $15/month value) to cover your family’s subscriptions if you have three or more lines on the monthly Unlimited Premium plan.

US Mobile is a prepaid, no contract carrier. This means that you pay for a 30 day plan when your plan starts. Not afterwards. If you are not on an unlimited plan, and run low on data, talk or text you can recharge your balance with Top Ups. You can also switch on AutoPay to have us automatically renew your plan every 30 days.

How Top-ups work varies by plan. If you are on one of our Unlimited plans, you will not need to top up. If you have lines on our Shareable Data plan, each line gets unlimited talk and text. If you run low on data in the middle of your 30-day cycle, you can just add additional GBs of data – as little as 2 GB, or as much as you want – as a top up mid-cycle for just $2/GB via the US Mobile app or via your US Mobile dashboard in a browser. You can also configure top-ups to be added automatically when your base plan data runs low. To configure a top-up automatically, navigate to your shareable data pool page, switch to the “Settings” tab and enable automatic top-ups.

Any unused top-up data that purchased in your current billing cycle will roll over to the next billing cycle.

If you are on one of our legacy plans (our custom plans or an individual bundle), you can top your talk, text or data balance if you are running low in the middle of your 30-day plan. For these plans, you can top up through our app, the dashboard in a browser, or even with SMS, pick exactly how much you want and get access immediately. Top-ups on these plans roll over*.

Yes! With our Shareable Data plan, you can get data to share between as many devices as you like. Our Unlimited plans and legacy plans (such as our custom plans) are for single lines, and every device needs its own line. For Unlimited lines, plans and service are also individual and will have the same upper limits. You can read about more details in our Terms > Reasonable Use Policy.

Users with family plans will get one Perk (up to $15 value) for 3 monthly Unlimited Premium lines. Users with the legacy Unlimited All plans will still keep their perks at 3 and 4 lines.

Taxes & fees for plans may include a $2 Service Fee levied by our carrier partners to access their network and/or Recovery Fee charges that typically range from $1-$5 per line. You can read more about it here. This charge is subject to change from time to time as the cost of compliance changes. The changes are usually infrequent and small. Some of our plans are inclusive of taxes and fees, and you will not see separate taxes and fees for those.

Yes! US Mobile offers 5G with all its plans for no extra cost! This means that for 5G-compatible devices, you’ll automatically enjoy 5G coverage where available.

Did you know? US Mobile allows you to transfer your line between all three of our networks — Dark Star, Warp, and Light Speed — so that you can get the best coverage, wherever you are. With Free Network Transfer included, these network transfers are always free. Without 'Free Network Transfer', your first two transfers (ever, not per cycle) are free, then $2 per transfer.

The Multi-Network Add-on is available in monthly and annual plan versions for Unlimited Premium and Starter lines. The monthly add-on is $10/mo and the annual add-on is $7.5/mo ($90 total). Please note the the annual add-on is only available for purchase when the Primary Line is already on an annual plan. The purchase price will be prorated depending on the remaining cycles.
