Our network speeds are available through a combination of technologies called MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) and Carrier Aggregation that’s available on our Warp network. These technologies essentially allow multiple antennas that are available in your phone to communicate with different towers on different 4G and 5G bands resulting in greater reliability and speeds of 250 Mbps and higher. On other networks, phones only connect to the strongest signal.

No — while you’re certainly welcome to use a new device, you’re also able to use any SIM-compatible device you may own. This includes cell phones, tablets, and smart watches, among other devices.
Please note that older devices may not be 5G capable or be compatible with our Warp network. However, most of those devices can still access our 4G LTE service.

US Mobile is a prepaid, no contract carrier. This means that you pay for a 30 day plan when your plan starts. Not afterwards. If you are not on an unlimited plan, and run low on data, talk or text you can recharge your balance with Top Ups. You can also switch on AutoPay to have us automatically renew your plan every 30 days.
No. Each plan is for one line. And every device needs it's own line.
How Top-ups work varies by plan. If you are on one of our Unlimited plans, you will not need to top up. If you have lines on our Shareable Data plan, each line gets unlimited talk and text. If you run low on data in the middle of your 30-day cycle, you can just add additional GBs of data – as little as 2 GB, or as much as you want – as a top up mid-cycle for just $2/GB via the US Mobile app or via your US Mobile dashboard in a browser. You can also configure top-ups to be added automatically when your base plan data runs low. To configure a top-up automatically, navigate to your shareable data pool page, switch to the “Settings” tab and enable automatic top-ups.
Any unused top-up data that purchased in your current billing cycle will roll over to the next billing cycle.
If you are on one of our legacy plans (our custom plans or an individual bundle), you can top your talk, text or data balance if you are running low in the middle of your 30-day plan. For these plans, you can top up through our app, the dashboard in a browser, or even with SMS, pick exactly how much you want and get access immediately. Top-ups on these plans roll over*.

Your US Mobile Starter Kit comes with a SIM card ejector, and two SIM cards. The black SIM card automatically connects to our Warp network and the red SIM card connects you to our Dark Star network; either allows you to tap into high-speed 5G at no extra cost. If your device is not 5G-compatible, it will still be able to access 4G LTE speeds on either network. You can also order a separate SIM kit via our shop page if you would like to get our white SIM card, which connects you to our Light Speed network.
