Exciting update today — you can now activate your latest 5G-compatible iOS device using our instant activation with eSIM on our Warp 5G network.
That now means you can activate an eSIM on the following Apple devices:
- iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, and 13 Mini;
- iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and 12 Mini;
- And the iPhone SE 3rd Gen – 2022
We initially launched instant connectivity on eSIM in BETA back in December of last year, which allowed our customers to connect to our network instantly — no more waiting around for a Starter Kit or fussing around with physical SIM cards. This made our customers some of the first to experience the future of connectivity: faster, more secure, and enabling multi-network access.
At the time of our initial eSIM BETA release, we asked our customers to imagine what that future might be:
“Imagine switching between networks in a flash to suit your needs. Or having multiple networks on the same device.”
Today, we are confident in saying that that future has been realized. Our customers are taking advantage of eSIM to have service on multiple networks, truly maximizing their coverage — on top of what we enabled with our recent release of WiFi Calling on our Warp 5G network.
The new and improved US Mobile app makes it easy to activate your new eSIM card. Simply open the app, go to the “Activate” tab and select “Instantly Activate with eSIM.” With these new improvements to our framework, you’ll be cruising at Warp speeds in no time.
Transfer your line using eSIM
Already have a line with a physical SIM or an eSIM and you need to transfer it to your new iPhone 14? No worries. We’ve made it incredibly easy to do inside the US Mobile app. Follow the steps to transfer from Android-iPhone or iPhone-iPhone in minutes.
Our Product and Engineering teams are hard at work continuing to expand eSIM access to new devices. Up next will be a suite of Samsung devices, including the latest assortment of Samsung Galaxy S22 and S21 smartphones.
We have a lot more in the works as we look ahead to Q2 — Premium Data for LTE devices, better plan pricing, and the continued evolution of America’s next-generation carrier.
Will this method work to transfer an existing US Mobile line on an iPhone XR 4G with pSIM to iPhone 14 Pro 5G eSIM?
Absolutely.
Hi, Do we have any timeline to enable eSIM for Samsung Galaxy S22+ on Wrap LTE network? Thanks
That final sentence really caught my attention – you say Q2 for Premium Data for LTE, do you mean Q4? This would be a huge addition, as the lack of premium/priority data for LTE devices is what keeps me from signing up for US Mobile. And better plan pricing is always a win. Looking forward to hearing more about these details.
